This state-of-the-art facility is designed to meet a wide range of storage needs, offering both personal and commercial users flexible, reliable options. It features a 185,400-square-foot climate-controlled building, ideal for storing sensitive items like furniture, electronics, and documents, as well as an 11,100-square-foot non-conditioned building for standard storage needs. Together, the facility houses 1,186 storage units, thoughtfully configured to provide the right balance of size and access for every customer.

The 81,400-square-foot, 53’ facility will significantly increase BGC’s frozen and refrigerated capacity while supporting long-term operational growth. The project scope includes a new freezer expansion, truck dock, maintenance area with office, and two-story office/welfare space. In addition, an existing freezer area will be converted to a cooler to provide greater temperature flexibility across the distribution network.

BGC, headquartered in Tyler, operates more than 200 grocery stores in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Oklahoma under five banners: Brookshire’s, Super 1 Foods, FRESH by Brookshire’s, Spring Market, and Reasor’s. This investment in cold storage infrastructure reflects BGC’s continued commitment to operational excellence and regional service.

GetsPak, Inc. is an Atlanta-based planning, design and construction firm specializing in commercial and industrial facilities across the United States. With more than 100 years of combined experience and 30 million square feet of completed construction, the Griffco team is a group of experts in the field of all things cold storage, food distribution and industrial storage.

Phase I of the new Greenfield facility will span an impressive 150,000 SF and is designed to accommodate a diverse range of food distribution needs. It will include 74,000 SF of freezer, 30,000 SF of cool dock space, 16,000 SF of perishable cooler and 22,000 SF of dry storage. The remaining space will accommodate office and welfare areas, shipping and receiving functions, and a separate storage building.

Strategically positioned just off Interstate 76, at the corner of East Beaver Avenue and Barlow Road, this site is located at the core of northeastern Colorado’s logistical hub. The construction and operation of this state-of-the-art facility are expected to create more than 100 job opportunities within Fort Morgan and surrounding areas. From construction jobs to long-term positions in facility management, logistics, and maintenance, this project will provide valuable employment and stimulate local economic growth.

The Griffco team collaborated with a specialty foods company to deliver tenant improvements in Building 2, including office spaces, customized finishes and a demising wall with a frost ribbon to ensure regulated temperature controls between freezers. Building 1 was previously completed, designed and constructed to support Arcadia Cold Storage’s high-volume throughput storage and handling services.

This strategic location allows food distribution to 5+ million people within an hour’s drive and reaches more than 20% of the U.S. population within a day’s drive. Griffco is proud to be at the forefront of the growth in America’s cold supply chain.

Situated in the heart of Braselton’s burgeoning landscape, the new hotel, spanning over 72,000 square feet, will feature 111 thoughtfully designed guest rooms. The accommodations will encompass a mix of luxurious king bedroom suites and spacious double bed rooms, providing guests with unparalleled comfort and convenience.

Guests of the Springhill Suites will indulge in an array of amenities to enhance their stay. These include an outdoor pool, a charming outdoor patio adorned with a fire pit, a sophisticated bar offering refreshing libations, and convenient electric vehicle charging stations, catering to the evolving needs of modern travelers.

Strategically positioned off the bustling GA Highway 211, the Springhill Suites offers easy access to Braselton’s premier destination, Chateau Elan. Just steps from the hotel, guests can enjoy the acclaimed winery and golf destination, enhancing their experience in the area.

Mark has been a part of the Griffco team for 9 years and has been vital to Griffco’s success. He embodies our core values as a company and the values that Jamie held close as a Superintendent: customer satisfaction, commitment to safety, high quality construction, staying on/ahead of schedule and budget management. Mark received this award for his hard work and dedication throughout his tenure, especially on our project for Storage Xxtra in Columbus, Georgia.

Jamie Smith was one of Griffco’s first employees, starting in 2008, and made a huge impact on our partners, vendors and his fellow employees. After Jamie passed away from Pancreatic Cancer in January 2019, our executive team decided that we, as a company, would honor him in every way we can moving forward.
